Yesterday, the powers-that-be at How It Should Have Ended let the cat out of the bag about a new project I've been working on in the form of this video (at the 13 second mark):
ABCDEFGeek is going to be turned into a series of animated shorts! The new series is being produced by Daniel Baxter & Tina Alexander of How It Should Have Ended and written/drawn/animated/voiced/etc by me! It will appear on the How It Should Have Ended YouTube channel.
The series will begin with "A Is For Ackbar" sometime this summer. Each letter will (likely) be based on entries in the existing non-animated version of ABCDEFGeek, but the animated versions will be fresh, fun takes on them. The current plan is to release a new short every 6 weeks. "A Is For Ackbar" is already in the can. It will be followed by "J Is For Josh", "B Is For Bromance" and "L Is For Liar". As with the non-animated series, I'm going to bounce around the alphabet as the ideas come to me.
I'm really excited to be starting this new project. I've wanted to do my own animation for a long time. I'm thrilled and honored that Daniel & Tina have chosen ABCDEFGeek to begin to expand their brand.
Watch for more info and previews of the series in the coming months!
